DMCA & Copyright
Our position
YOUTUBETOMP3 respects intellectual property rights and takes copyright infringement seriously. We are a conversion tool that processes content transiently — we do not host, upload, or permanently store any audio files. When you submit a URL, our server fetches the audio from YouTube's infrastructure, converts it, streams it to your browser, and deletes the file immediately. No copy is retained on our servers.
Safe harbor
YOUTUBETOMP3 operates as an intermediary service under the safe harbor provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). We do not have actual knowledge of infringing material and we act expeditiously to address valid takedown notices.
Because we do not host content, the appropriate avenue for removing copyrighted audio content is to submit a takedown request directly to YouTube at support.google.com. That is where the content lives.
Filing a takedown request with us
If you believe YOUTUBETOMP3 enables infringement of content you own, send a DMCA notice to:
Email:
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request
Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
- The specific YouTube URL(s) associated with the alleged infringement
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A good-faith belief statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will respond within 48 hours of a complete, valid notice.
Counter-notices
If you believe content was removed in error, submit a counter-notice to the same email with your contact info, a description, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
Submitting a false DMCA notice violates 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may expose you to liability for damages, including attorney fees.
